Alec Baldwin: Know What You Don’t Know About the Miami Blues Star

Early Life 

Alec Baldwin was born as Alexander Rae Baldwin III on April 3, 1958, in New York. He was born to parents Alexander Rae Baldwin, a high school teacher, and a football coach and Carol Newcomb. Alec is the most famous among the four Baldwin brothers. He has three younger brothers namely Daniel, William, and Stephen. All of them are also in the acting field. 

Likewise, he is also an elder brother to two sisters, Elizabeth Baldwin Keuchler and Jane Anne Baldwin Sasso. 

Alec and his siblings were raised in Nassau Shores Neighbourhood as Roman Catholics. He completed his schooling from Alfred G.Berner High school located at Massapequa. He then went to attend George Washington University where he majored in political science. However, though he majored in political science, he couldn’t ignore acting and enrolled him in New York University’s drama department. Baldwin completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University.

Personal Life: Relationship and Marriage

The actor has tied the knot for the two times in his life, but with two different ladies. He shares a past with actress Kim Basinger. The former couple tied the knot in 1993 after dating each other for about three years. Soon after the marriage, they welcomed their daughter Ireland Baldwin in 1995. 

The couple was enjoying their parenthood and were busy embracing their extended family. Everything seemed perfect between the couple. But, all of sudden, news of their separation started surfacing in the media tabloids.  Kim was the on to file for the divorce and the actual reason behind it is still unknown. Their divorce was finalized in 2002.

Alec Baldwin took a long gap before settling down again in his life. After a doomed marriage with Kim, Alec currently is married to yoga guru Hilaria Baldwin. They walked down the aisle on June 27, 2012. The wedding ceremony was held at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, New York. 

Though there is a huge age gap between Hilaria and Alec, it has never been a problem for them. When there is true love then nothing can come in the way.

The power couple of the town has been blessed with four kids from their marriage. They all live under the same roof together cherishing sweet moments together,

His Children 

The couple welcomed their first baby daughter together on August 23, 2013. They named her Carmen Gabriela Baldwin. She has all grown up and has started going to kindergarten. Hilaria shared the picture from her first day at her Instagram account. A couple of years after, Alec again became a father to Rafael Thomas Baldwin. He was born on June 17, 2015.

The couple again extended their family of three to four when they welcomed their third child  Leonardo Angel Charles Baldwin on 12th September 2016. The younger generation of Baldwin brood finally ended when the couple gave birth to  Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin on 7th May 2018.  

Alec could have been a father to one more chid, but, unfortunately, Hilaria suffered from a devastating miscarriage. She updated about her condition after the incident with her fans as:

‘Little Update: I’m doing better. I have my moments when I feel better then I have moments when I will get really sad. But I feel like time and healing and everyone’s support is helping me. Spending time with my babies and husband helps so much. I am lucky to have them.’
