The singing sensation Taylor was born on 13th December 1989, as Taylor Alison Swift. She was born to father Scott Kingsley Swift and mother Andrea Gardner Swift. While her dad worked as a stockbroker for Merril Lynch, her mother worked as a homemaker and as a mutual fund marketing executive. Her parents named her after the popular singer and songwriter James Taylor. She is an elder sister to Austin Kingsley Swift. He is an actor known for the movie I.T. 
Talking about her education, she attended Alvernia Montessori School before transferring to The Wyndcroft School.
